National Savings & Investments offer some useful savings products that are guaranteed by UK Government and so can be considered as very secure investments.

National Savings offer a number of interesting products including Fixed Interest Savings Certificates and Index Linked Savings Certificates over fixed terms of 2, 3 and 5 years.

Index Linked Savings Certificates offer returns on top of the increase in Retail Prices Index (RPI) which is generally higher than the more commonly used Consumer Price Index (CPI) figure quoted in the media.

Both Fixed Interest Savings Certificates and Index Linked Savings Certificates offer are tax-free returns to investors.

These products are a useful part of financial and investment planning as a low risk investment.
