Expert's Jon Hunt Climbs Mount Kilimanjaro

Our very own Jonathan Hunt climbed the highest free standing peak in the world: Mount Kilimanjaro.

As Jonathan states, "Climbing was the easy bit – the hard bit was raising over £5,000 for the Nasio Trust. Thanks to all those who sponsored me!"

Cycle 4 Seatbelts

We sponsored Neil Godfrey and his friends Bob Paterson, Steve Jordan and Owen Pates with £100 for cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats. This cycle ride is in memory of Dale Paterson (aged 13) and is to increase awareness of seatbelt safety, whilst raising money for the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund. The journey starts on 1st June and finishes on 18th June 2007, covering some 1,020 miles. For more information on "Cycle 4 Seatbelts" click on the logo below.

Christmas 2006

Rather than send out Christmas cards, we have made two donations to charity:

£500 to the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust
Launched in June 1999, the Air Ambulance provides a life saving service for the Thames Valley area covering Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and just into Northamptonshire.
£250 to the Nasio Trust
A charity supporting projects working with orphaned and destitute children in Kenya. Its principle role is to provide general care in the form of food, clothing and educational resources (schooling, Day Centres, etc.) and its primary thrust is to help HIV-orphaned children.

Late 2005

We proudly made a donation of £1,000 in late 2005 to Oxfordshire Ambulance League of Friends www.oxambfriends.org.uk for the purchase of a defibrillator unit for Witney.
